Hey I just want to say thankyou for such a wonderfull post

Carol

I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you that you and your family are in my prayers. I believe that someone's whole family is involved in ministry, and that it's not just your husband and you who stand up and defend the world's orphans, but your entire family. I pray for you and for Show Hope- that everyone be safe, protected, and blessed. That the good work being done through all of you is guided and annointed by God for His purposes.

I pray that you are all strengthened and feel God's loving care around you as you step out in the work that you do. I pray that your family, friends and co-workers receive special direction from Jesus on how to operate as He wanted us to on this earth.

I also pray for your children, that they continue to grow from your nurture, and learn the ways of God and Jesus.

May God Bless you Kerry, and know that He has wonderful things planned for you in the world.

Hello, Kerry. My family recently went through an incredible loss after pursuing an adoption of two "of the least of these" (2 older orphan siblings from Colombia). Our adoption pursuit was denied at the very last turn, and we all grieved on a very deep level, us and the two children we tried to adopt. However, God, in His grace, drew us very close to Himself through that grieving and eventually led us to unofficially adopt the siblings' 18 year old brother, who was just released from the orphanage two weeks ago without a single resource to his name. He is our miracle son, though we live continents apart. I wrote a book about our painful journey to him, our journey straight into the hearts of these three children who wanted nothing more than to be part of a family. I would love to send you a copy of the book if you would send me your address. I am looking for all the right hands to put it in to give these precious older orphans a voice. It is called From the Mountain...to the Valley...and Back! Here is the link. http://bookstore.westbowpress.com/Products/SKU-000503397/From-the-Mountainto-the-Valleyand-Back.aspx

I also just started a new blog. www.fromtheheartofrachelled.blogspot.com

Kerry,

It is not how you were able to: write about your faithful family on your blog, how you became so connected with the Lord, why you have a strong faith, how you became who you are today, but rather, it's who helped you with all the captivating faith in your life you have right now!

PS: It's always been Jesus that has been watching over you!

Hello Kerry,

My name is Molly Sipling and I work with Moody Publishers. I could not find an e-mail address to contact you, but I am commenting to let you know of a book that we think might interest you. We have recently released a book by Diane Elliot titled The Global Orphan Crisis. This is a unique book that emphasizes the global crisis as well as very practical ways to get involved. As Diane points out, the need is overwhelming, the workers are few, but if we are willing we can be part of the global orphan solution and make a difference in the life of an orphaned child now and for all eternity. Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to a hurting child.

We would be honored if you would be willing to post a review of The Global Orphan Crisis, feature the book in a blog post or possibly include this book in a list of resources. We would like to send you a copy of the book in either an eBook format or a physical copy. If this is of interest to you, please let me know what format you would prefer. You can contact me through the e-mail address that I have provided with my comment.

Thank you for your time!

Molly Sipling
