Orphans Deserve Better Campaign

Dear Friends,

The Christian Alliance for Orphans is launching the “Orphans Deserve Better” campaign today.  Although directly confronting Warner Bros upcoming horror movie, Orphan, the intent is not to “bash” Hollywood, but to rouse greater awareness and engagement in meeting the needs of orphans.  I’d greatly appreciate your help as part of this effort—signing the petition, perhaps posting a story, and sharing the website. 

May we be known as a people who do indeed “defend the cause of the fatherless” in ways both large and small.

Thank you, Kerry, for sharing awareness and encouragement on behalf of orphan's everywhere! I stopped by Show Hope's blog last week. I was particularly moved by the blog post that shared about the recent Show Hope mission trip to Honduras. The post was extremely well written and truly enlightening. I was moved by the author sharing how on the trip it was evident that "the orphan" is God's child....His children..therefore our Brothers and Sisters!!! I loved reading that, and, totally agree with this Family in Christ!!!

Thanks again for all you and your family continue to do on behalf of all of our Brothers and Sisters who continue to wait upon our Fathers words "I will not leave you orphans".

Hope Scott is feeling better with every passing day, and, many prayers for your dear friends the Chapmans and the Show Hope journey to China.
