Thanks so much for the blessing of this blog. My prayer request seems silly compared to so many others, but I have a prayer request that I will finally find the man to spend my life with soon. Thanks, Merry Christmas!

I pray for the Chapmans, that their hearts heal and find peace, and that they clearly feel Maria with them daily. I pray that their reunion with her will be very soon, and their pain will be washed away.

Thank you for your offer of prayer. I've been reading your blog for several months and it has been a blessing to me. My husband and I have lost 2 babies and I can relate to so much that you write about. We are now excited to be in the process of adopting from China, but would like prayer for patience and wisdom. Right now it seems as though we may not get our daughter for several years. We were prepared to wait 2-3 years but now it appears that it could be significantly longer. We are open to special needs adoption, but don't want to initiate that unless God clearly shows us it is his will and that we're not just doing it to expedite the process. We very much want to wait upon the Lord's timing in this matter. Would you pray that God would show us clearly if we need to do something differently and that he would give us encouragement and patience as needed? Thank you and God bless you!

Kerry - please pray for my husband, Mark, and our oldest son Ryan (he is currently a faith skeptic) as they are in South Africa living in an orphanage for 9 days. Please especially pray for my dear friend and her two daughters who are travelling there for the first time since their husband/father committed suicide - this is a place that their family has ministered together for the past 6 years.

Please pray for my friend who is a widow raising 3 sons. She is in a big battle with the school system to educate one of her sons. I feel like she is Job - many, many things have happened to her in the past 2 years. Her fatherless and vulnerable children have been dealt many, many blows in this life.

I am praying.

Pray for my husband and I and our marriage. We have struggled since day 1 (for 7 1/2 years now). We are both believers but there are some great strongholds (some we don't even know about). I so desire to call my husband my best friend, lover, confidant, etc but it is not there right now. I am in a dry spot right now and so desire for more. I feel like there is a glass ceiling between me and the Lord and I can't seem to get through it. I know He is with me though, I am just ready for some milk and honey. Thanks for being willing to carry these things to the throne. What a neat picture, of the frankincense.

Thank you, Kerri, for the wonderful post. I would like to lift up my friend, Julia, who had a miscarriage in early November. I just found out a young mom, Jodie Gee, who was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia, a disease of the bone marrow. She has a husband and two young children. Please pray that she would find a match for a bone marrow donor soon. Thank you. I am having a "cookie and story" time with some neighbors and their children, will definitely share your post. Merry Christmas.

Please can you pray that we'll have a baby? I've had 7 miscarriages and currently undergoing lots of test to find out why... I really believe god wants us to have children. I guess i'm just learning to be patient and wait for God's timing - which is perfect....

I found your blog during National Adoption Month and was blessed by your heart for the orphan. My husband and I are working to adopt 2 siblings from Brazil. God has shown himself Faithful and Merciful throughout the whole process (about 2 and a half years and counting). We do not yet know who our children are, but God has led us to Brazil. It breaks my heart to think of our children spending this Christmas apart from their family. Please join us in praying for God's continued guiding of this process and a SPEEDY trip home for our beloveds.

Our family friend Kaitlyn has acute and chronic Lyme disease. She's 14 years old and so hypersensitive that the fridge in the other room keeps her awake at night. She can't handle light, touch, sound, smells, movement... nothing. The doctor took her pulse one day and her wrist still ached two days later. It's taken a toll on her family because they are split up in four different states (her younger sister is only 8 and currently living with their grandmother). In everything they've gone through, the family continues to praise the Lord and understands the power of prayer and its necessity for Kait's healing.

Thank you for your prayers!

Please pray for grace and healing this season as we spend our second Christmas without Jordan and our first Christmas without Clark. Also, please pray that we will continue to adjust to our new life overseas and find peace in the work we are doing.
Blessings to you and your family, Kerry!

I would be so honored to have you add my husband and myself to your prayers. My husband lost his job this last summer, and because of his age, he is having a hard time finding another one. Therefore, we are having to sell our home, which is no easy feat at this time. Money is tight and the stress is horrible. I worry about my husband. I am not able to work as I have fibro and Graves disease. I thank you for the good you do!

Our Adopted daughter, Jessica, (almost 18) has lost both of her kidneys and needs a transplant .She has been very sick. The medications she was given have caused the bones in her hips to now become brittle. Please pray that this lovely young girl with Developmental Disabilities will not lose her ability to walk also and that she will have a new kidney soon.
My husband, the sole wage earner, was recently laid off from his job of 19 years. Please pray for us as husband and wife as we seek God’s provision and direction for our family at this time.

Also, my heart is always with the orphans among us. Out in Washington State right now we are having a crisis with our Child Protection system. Children are being injured, even dying while in state care. We have been foster parents to several that God has brought us (our sick daughter included) over the years. Yet now it seems Christians are actually being chased out (or put out) by the ‘powers- that- be’. This cannot continue. This IS our calling, to reach out to the neediest of children. I am here to tell you that all of the children God sent to us were open in some way to hearing about His Love. This means God’s Word will not come back to Him void. Please pray for open doors to remain and for the Body of Christ to be able to safely reach out to these children.

Thank you so much Kerry for serving and loving with such beauty in Jesus. It has been such a blessing to read your words from your heart to our Savior. I pray that you and your family would know every blessing and comfort in Him ever nearer.
As it says in His Word in the effectual fervant prayer of the righteous avails much, so thank you for offering this wonderful gift and showing such compassion and joy. Please know you have blessed me tremendously knowing how your family life in Him is transforming the lives of such precious children and adults across the world. Your prayers have blessed me too. Galatians 3 28-29.

Thank you too to all those that have commented on Kerrys blog, the testimony you have of Him is so precious.

Offering Ephesians 3 14-21 as a prayer for you.

Blessings to you and your family in abundance.

Love Caroline. UK.

I would like to have my joy back in my heart.

Thank you so much for this precious gift...

I have thought of you often as I struggle with the Christmas season, knowing you share the same grief that we do in our home this year. Know that you are in my prayers as well.

Please pray for our family as we miss our Rachel so much. My daddy too, he died in October. However, I am comforted knowing that they are celebrating this Christmas with the King of Kings!

Thank you for being such a blessing!!!

Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Thank you so much for this gift. Please remember my family this Christmas. Please pray my husband and I search for what Jesus wants and has for us instead of what we want and think we need. Our relationship is not what it should be and it is affecting our 3 kids. My heart is breaking for my children and the example of a family they have.

Thank you so much for this post. I feel as though I learn so much from all of your blog posts. As I've been reading through these comments I've also been lifting them up to our Lord. I would ask that you would pray for me to have strength as I continue in my very intense graduate program. There are so many days when I just want to throw in the towel, but for some reason this is where God has me now. Also, that He would bless my relationships with those around me, and that my classmates who don't Jesus would come to know Him this Christmas season.

God bless.

Praise be to God! My Mother-in-Law (post #8 above) is back at the nursing home, and HER MIND IS CLEAR!!
The docs say she had a UTI which went septic but antibiotics cleared it up. I say she had many prayers go up on her behalf & God healed her.

Thank you, Kerry, and thank you others who are praying and asking for prayer. We're all in this life together, and The Lord desires that we lay down our lives for our friends. That could mean I turn off the TV and go to Him in earnest intercession for my Brothers and Sisters. He is on His throne, and He is listening.

Love from NC.

Please pray for my husband and I to have a stronger Christ centered marriage.

wow, what a beautiful post-- and wonderful idea straight out of God's heart! i would love for you to pray for our precious children we are called to adopt in ethiopia. this will be our second adoption. we don't know them yet, but God does and please pray that He will keep them safe and healthy and prepare their hearts for our family. thank you so much. merry christmas!!!

This is a praise. God has healed little Ashley enough that the transplant drs. have given her the okay to be with her family at home. They also gave her the okay to have the magical Christmas that her family had planned. Praise the Lord for answering prayer. Thank you to everyone who joined in praying for her. She still needs prayer, because she is not 100% healthy, but God could still do that.

Merry CHRISTmas :) A special request goes out Today in the name of Jesus Christ Our Savior... Recieved a TCF buddy last night. (He'd taken bus Friday to go spend Christmas WEEK with his g.f.) He needs a ride back home today as the bus only runs on Fridays... my request here is this: Please pray for His Safe keeping & Soul. Being 'dumped & kicked out' just before Christmas is hard for anyone but especially tough for an alcoholic orphan with NO family left! I AM concerned about him!!! (He suffers from MAJOR suicidal depression & alcoholism). Also I don't usually ask for prayers for myself but would you please keep me in your Positive thoughts as I travel the stormy roads in MN from 9a-4p. Thanks so kindly :) Have a blessed day. Love, ~Joni

Please pray for my sister and her husband - for her to get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby. She has had three miscarriages this year and I pray that they will not suffer another miscarriage but be blessed with the child they desire so much. Our family strongly believes God has a perfect plan but it still so hard to watch those you love live under such sadness and stress.

Thank you for your blog and especially for this gift of prayer.

Kerry, thank you for allowing the Lord to minister through your writings in the blog. I am greatly helped, encouraged, and challenged. Thank you for the opportunity to offer these burdens to the Lord yet again. My husband has been fasting for a season as we beg the Lord for direction in our desire for a family. We do not know which direction to go or whether we are to simply be still and content before him. We are getting close to crossing the medical world's magical line of conceiving before I'm 35, plus I have major medical issues which pose what seems to me impossible, mountainous hurdles. We have not been able to conceive for years, and we do not know whether God would have us pursue appointments with fertility specialists. I am very afraid and confused. We cannot afford to be physically, emotionally or financially drained. We are already spread dangerously thin in those areas. We are interested in adoption, but do not know if it is God's will for us. We have wrestled and cried until we are so weary. I have no peace about proceeding in any way until I have clear direction from the Lord. We cannot decide this for ourselves; it's much too big. He must show us. We know He is so strong, but the wait has been so long. And I question if all this is my fault because I haven't acted already. So many mind games. I know He is sovereign and that his timing is perfect. His plans will not be thwarted I must remind myself. Peace and wisdom. I desperately, desperately need them.

Bless you Kerry. Thank you. Thank you.
Praise be to Jesus, my eternal King, Priest, and perfect Sacrifice.

My prayer request is for my parents and sister to receive Jesus as their Savior. I often feel held at bay to witness to them, and I also feel like I have missed many opportunities. My prayers lately have been that God would reveal Himself to them, and He would take away my fears about them. I want to see them in Heaven with our Savior.
