We do need to drink from His Fountain every day. While we can get help in the process, it ultimately is our choice to accept that water. That was a wonderful example of it done by your daughter.

Since you're still asking, if you don't mind, I will share a couple requests. This Christmas has completely turned into me waking up miserable now for the past couple of days. I'm angry, confused, sad. It's the second Christmas without Gracie here, and it's still raw. Looking at those presents that "Santa's" been wrapping the past week, and just seeing "To: Aaron" and not "To: Gracie" stings. We still put her stocking on our mantle, but there will be no Gracie gifts underneath the tree. I just want to see her.

We're in the middle of the dossier process, and we're hoping to be approved for adoption. Right now, I am praying that there is a little child, an expectant mother, or one who eventually will be; who will completely transform our world.

God bless you this Christmas. He is on the Throne.

please know that i have prayed specifically for you and your family these last few weeks. the weeks leading into a holiday seem to be more difficult than the actual holiday itself, i've found. you and mary beth have been heavy on my heart and each time i feel that heaviness a prayer goes up with your names on them. please know that those prayers will not stop as Christmas comes and goes and as your year mark approaches.

More words straight from God's heart to mine...through you. Simply amazing. Thank you. Continuing to pray for you all...

I pray we will all receive His gift.

I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid.

That is toooooooo cute! My little granddaughter is 2 and a half and she has those moments of, "I can do it myself!" That's how they learn, like you said....God bless you and yours, Kerry! You're a precious lady!

A beautiful picture for us to think about. We do that so often in our lives. I am praying for you today :) Thank you for praying for us.

Dear Kerry:

This is the first time I have commented. I began reading your blog after the Chapman's lost Maria. Thank you for sharing your life and the valuable truths the Lord teaches you. I've so very much enjoyed reading your blog, which the Lord uses to teach me of Him as well.

You are such a precious lady.

Very Sincerely,

I don't know about your story as far as Gracie is concerned. I am assuming it is a child that you lost. I appreciated your prayers for my family (my husband passed away on Dec 3rd) a thought that the Lord gave me is that the more that I can be in His presence, the more I am near my husband in a way because he is ALSO in the presence of God. I hope you have heard of Jason Upton... he has a song "In Your Presence". Ironically my husband just made that his ringback tone a few weeks before his accident. Anyway, God led me to these verses today... I pray that the Holy Spirit moves in your heart with comfort and peace. Being in His presence gives you a shared experience with Gracie.
Psalm 145:14-21

The Lord sustains all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and save them. The Lord keeps all who love Him but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

Here is that song I mentioned above. I pray that God uses it to bless you as much as it does me.

Here's something I recieved that may also help others (sharing is Love) Merry Christmas to all :)
Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees, around the world below.
With tiny lights, like Heavens stars, reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular; please wipe away that tear,
for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
but the sounds of the music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here.

For I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring,
for it is beyond description to hear an Angel sing.

I know how much you miss me; I see the pain inside your heart
but I am not so far away we are really not apart.

So be happy for me dear ones, you know I hold you dear
and be glad I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift, from my Heavenly home above.
I send you each a memory of my undying Love.

For after all “LOVE" is a gift more precious than pure gold,
it was always most important, in the stories Jesus Christ told.

So please love and help each other as my Father said to do,
for I cannot count the blessings or the love he has for you.

I can’t tell you of the splendor or the peace here in this place.
Can you just imagine Christmas with our Savior face to face.

I'll ask him to lift your spirit as I tell him of your love.
So then pray one for another as you lift your eyes above.

So please let your heart be joyful and let your spirits sing
for I am spending Christmas in Heaven and I am with the KING!!
